I look forward to seeing you in the Fair City, soon. Bill Montgomery President 2008-2009 | Modern Perth Perth is a city rich in history but alive with a new energy. Perth Concert Hall is at the cultural heart of the city centre, providing a creative space where you will be inspired to take time out to do business, network, innovate and share ideas.
It is a stunning, modern facility, designed by award winning architects and fully equipped with leading edge technology. The state of the art auditorium has seating for 1200, and can offer a range of contemporary, flexible spaces with capacities ranging from 16 to 100 for conferences, business meetings, exhibitions, events, and has been the venue for our annual Rotary Fayre. |
Ancient Perth Scone Palace is a place that breathes history like nowhere else in Scotland. Today, in the 21st century, it is home to the Earl of Mansfield, and a major attraction to visitors from all over the world. Fifteen hundred years ago, it was the capital of the Pictish kingdom and the centre of the ancient Celtic church. In the intervening centuries, it has been the seat of parliaments and the crowning place of Kings. It is the rightful home of the Stone of Destiny, on which all the British Kings and Queens have been crowned, and immortalised in Shakespeare's Macbeth. |
